Professor Stephan Kanlian developed and serves as Chairperson of FIT's unique Master's degree program for emerging leaders in the cosmetics and fragrance.  As an industry think tank, the FIT Master’s program has organized business conferences, seminars, panels, and speaker series on topics including luxury branding, marketing, retailing, leadership and business innovation, in cooperation with leading firms that include Target, L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Estée Lauder, LVMH, Disney, Mastercard, Google, The Wharton School and IDEO.  Each year, the program’s graduates present innovative solutions to industry issues before an audience of more than 700 business executives.  Professor Kanlian previously held marketing and business development positions in the corporate, public and nonprofit sectors. He is often called upon as an industry expert by the press and an invited speaker by groups such as American Express, The Wharton School, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and BBC Radio.  Professor Kanlian has served on the Board of Directors, Strategic Initiatives Committee,  and Annual Meeting Committee of the Personal Care Products Council based in Washington, D.C., and for the Fragrance Foundation, he has served for many years as a judge for the annual Fragrance Awards.

Flynn is a Brand Marketer with 10 years of experience at the center of where the CPG Industry and the Digital world cross paths – she’s super passionate about figuring out how to use this new world of digital and data to build better Brands and better Connections with Consumers. Flynn is the Principal Industry Analyst for Global Beauty at Google. She leads the global insights + analytics practice for the CPG Vertical. Her team is obsessed with using data to understand every little weird thing about the consumer, their culture + the big picture of what's going on in the Personal Care category. They partner with Google's top advertisers for all things Strategic Insights, Trends + Media Measurement related to help move their businesses. Prior to joining Google, Flynn held various roles in Global Marketing, Digital Marketing & Media in the Beauty Industry.

Sanjiv Mehra is the co-founder of eos, which has grown from an idea to a market leading, multinational business, based on a solid platform of practices and thought that are characteristic of the best CPG companies in North America. He is responsible for the expansion of HP’s business to India, and the first off-shore outsourced software operation for HP and for India. Sanjiv was a senior member of the team that started Pepsi’s operations in India and other international markets. Prior to eos, Sanjiv was with Unilever’s North American Home & Personal Care Division. With private equity funding Sanjiv started Phoenix Brands, with the purchase of a portfolio of brands from Unilever and subsequently acquired an additional portfolio of laundry brands from Colgate.

Lori Monaco leads the U.S. beauty practice at The NPD Group. Lori has over 25 years of experience in strategy, consumer insights, business development, and marketing. Lori is considered an expert in consumer behavior, advertising research, and analysis. Lori joined The NPD Group in 2003 and has played a key role in helping the company grow its business. She also has developed and launched products and services that meet the evolving needs of the industries she focuses on. Prior to joining NPD, Lori held senior positions at Kraft Foods, working on billion-dollar brands to help drive marketing effectiveness and sales. Earlier in her career, she worked at Nielsen and in account management at Y&R Wunderman. Lori holds an MBA from Hofstra University.

As the Creative Director of BEAUTYSTREAMS, Michael Nolte oversees a content team of over 100 collaborators worldwide. His background includes over 15 years’ experience as a fashion trend forecaster. In his previous positions at companies such as Stylesight, Carlin International, and Nelly Rodi, Michael predicted trends for clients such as L'Oréal, Aston Martin, Target, Reebok, Disney, Converse, and Levi Strauss.

Karine Ohana is the Co-Managing Partner of OHANA & CO, an independent investment bank providing mergers & acquisitions and other financial advisory services. Karine started her investment banking career at Société Générale. Leveraging her niche expertise and extensive network in the Luxury, Lifestyle, Beauty and Branded Goods sectors, she has advised a wide range of companies and international entrepreneurs, including: LVMH, Chanel, AmorePacific, Puig, InterParfums, Diptyque, Lanvin, Eres, Coty, Procter & Gamble and Delta Galil, etc. In addition, she sits on the boards of the Museum of Design in Israel and the Education Council of the American Skin Association in New York. Karine was also listed by Time magazine as one of the most influential women in Fashion (2004).

Andrew Shore is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Shore has over 33 years of investment banking and research experience, most recently as a Managing Director in the Global Consumer Products Group at JP Morgan. While at JP Morgan, Mr. Shore built a leading franchise advising clients in the global household and personal care industries on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and a broad range of financial advisory services. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Mr. Shore was a Managing Director in Deutsche Bank’s Consumer Products and Retail Group and previously the Head of Deutsche Bank’s Global Consumer Products Strategy, which included analysis and portfolio construction of food, beverage, tobacco and household products, personal care and luxury goods stocks. Mr. Shore holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the George Washington University.

Ida Wong, Vice President, Global Product Development - Skincare, Clinique, is responsible for the strategy and development of skin care products for Clinique worldwide. In this role, she continually drives competitive advantage and newness across numerous key regional and global skin care franchises. Prior to returning back to Clinique in New York, Ida was the Vice President of Product Development - Skin Care, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Ms. Wong joined the Estée Lauder Companies in 2002. Prior to her role in Asia, Ms. Wong was Executive Director of Product Development Treatment, responsible for the development of Clinique skin care products globally. Before entering product development, Ms. Wong was a Development Chemist at The Estée Lauder Companies Laboratories where she was responsible for color formulations in foundations and mascaras

Named one of the Top Women in Media by Folio Magazine, Yuli Ziv is an influencer marketing pioneer, an author of 3 trade titles, and an immigrant founder who bootstrapped her business from zero to millions. She currently serves as CEO of Influencer Marketing Division and US Co-Managing Director at Launchmetrics, a software, data insights, and influencer marketing company with a focus in fashion, cosmetics & luxury. Ms. Ziv was previously the founder and CEO of Style Coalition, one of the first influencer marketing platforms, which she launched in 2008 and sold to Launchmetrics in 2017. An internationally known speaker, Yuli delivered speeches at Cosmoprof Itay, DLD Moscow, Luxury Retail Summit, WWD Magic, NY Internet Week, Yale University, NYU and FIT and has been featured in The New York Times, Financial Times, NY Observer, WSJ and Forbes. She holds BA in Design of Visual Communications from Tel-Aviv University and MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts New York.
