LastObject reimagines the cotton swab as a reusable product that’s created with the planet in mind. Designed for men in a deep black tone, the LastSwab is crafted with a bumpy tip to pick up any debris, and is made from TPE, a silicone-like material that feels soft to the touch. Intended to be used more than 1,000 times, replacing up to 1,000 single-use swabs, the LastSwab comes in a carry case to take on the go. The case is made from 100% ocean-bound plastic, while the swab’s rod is made from fiberglass-reinforced PP, which is over-molded with the TPE soft tip, offering both strength and flexibility. LastObject states that according to its third-party validated life-cycle analysis, using the swab represents an 83% reduction in CO2 footprint, reduces water consumption by 92%, and is 8.3 times better for the environment compared to using a cotton swab.

LastSwab Original Pro can be used for all the same things you would use a single-use cotton swab for. It comes in our badass black version that will make you look cooler than Batman when using a swab :) The swab has bumby tips grab & pulls whatever is needed, the tips are made of TPE (silicone-like material) that makes it soft and pleasant.

Technical details

We are the original manufactures of the reusable ‘’cotton’’ swabs and after years asking we have finally made a real maskulin version of our beloved LastSwab. We have used 100% Recycled Ocean-Bound Plastic for the carry case & the swab rod is made of fiberglass-reinforced PP that has been over-molded with high-quality TPE (feels like silicone) giving it strength and flexibility with a soft tip. We use Cradle to Cradle or FSC-certified paper for the packaging.

What sets your product apart and why is it innovative?

Every year 550 Billions (yes that’s with a B) of single-use swabs are being used one time and thrown away, we want to be part of the solution that eliminates this need, by providing people with a great reusable alternative. We are first movers in the reusable swab industry setting a high standard for reusable swabs and by doing this we are helping to eliminate single-use swabs by showing there’s a great alternative to single-use.

How do you promote your product on multiple channels?

We promote our products on social media via paid ads where we reach 1.000.000 people per month, but also in our channels primarily through Instagram (143.000), and Facebook (43.000), but also through sales initiatives with our distributors (5), retailers (3.000), email (120.000) subscribers and Kickstarter campaigns (6 and counting with 50.000 backers).

How does your product meet the evaluation criteria of its category?

We always strive to make Reusable effective tools that look like the single-use version they are replacing but in a beautiful design and high-quality materials thereby making them last a long time and saving the world from as many single-use products as possible. LastSwab Original Pro replaces +1000 single-use cotton swabs and all of this while still having customers rating LastSwab Original Pro 4.7 out of 5, that’s pretty innovative to us.
