At Fawcett HQ everything is recycled wherever possible. As such very little waste is generated, no more than one bin bag per week. For packaging wherever practical we use materials which are PEFC certified for their base fibres whilst using the highest recycled content possible for the application. This ranges from 15% to 70% across all Captain Fawcett packaging. All printing and gluing is conducted using water based inks, varnishes and glues, meaning that all Captain Fawcett packaging is 100% recyclable and can be looped back into the supply chain. Our plastic bottles are made in the UK, thus reducing carbon footprint. They are made from PET 100% PCR. (Post Consumer Regrind) which is recycled plastic that would otherwise go to landfill. Where safe and practical we use glass bottles which are 100% recyclable.
